I love this quote because it succinctly summarizes today’s topic which is one of my favorite words…..NEXT.
No matter what career you are in, there will be people and circumstances that will disappoint, frustrate or anger you.
Those that know me will often hear me say this…..Some will, some won’t, so what……NEXT.
In other words, move on and let it go.
Yes, I know it’s hard sometimes. You worked your butt off for a client and when they decide to go a different direction, your emotions start percolating and you want to complain about the situation and become the victim.
While that may feel good for a short period of time, it serves absolutely no purpose. High performers know this and have practiced the skill – it is a learned skill: they assess the situation, and ask themselves the following questions….
